anaemic venture

in deep waters i tread
cautiously; for the trench beneath
the sea that keeps me buoyant
lies unseen, unknown, unexplained

uncertainties; flaming igniting
genuine curiosity, killing imagination
perpetuating engines of
futuristic revolution

fatigue overrides mental deter-
mination, still i float
now not of life that struggles for
pursuits and endeavours,

but of lifelessness that
permeates my body
and soul, of impending
calamity of miscomputation.
